Guys, hiking is the best hobby ever. Ife tinkaona ngati ndi bodza, but ask Lydia akuuze za ku Mulanje mountain, on Lichenya plateau.

Okey, here is the break down of our adventure. We started climbing Mt. Mulanje at around 1500hours. Guess what........................we reached our destination 5hrs 30mins later. now wasnt that fun?

Come saturday, we woke up at around 0900hrs, prepared our braii meat and left for the voyage of the plateau. Nyama tinayisiya in the good hands of Apatrick...mumaziwa, .....ina yake.

We went to have a view of the Island in the sky....it was beautifull.

guys! after the mulanje trip, we have learnt one or two things. it is my plea that we turn the negatives into positives for the smooth ride of our beloved alliance.

the major lessons to me are procastination and team work.

it was observed that timakonda kusiyilana ma responsibilites. why guys! let's work together men!

The Hikers Alliance were captured here atop Mulanje Mountain. This is over 2000 meters above the sea level. It was just fantastic.

Man, if I were you, I would start hiking today. I never believed that you could find a plateau on a mountain. Mulanje mountain is just………………marvellous……..and ……………..a place to have a vacation or honeymoon.

As they put it, Mulanje massif offered me a rare opportunity to discover the realities of Gods beautiful creation, as well as discover myself. What I really liked most, was the fact that we spent the three days in a natural environment, without knowledge of time, or contact with anybody. It was only the group members that were around.

Honestly, am going there again. The aerial view from that mountain was just sweet that I would love to go there again.

Thanx to all who made this trip possible. And to my fellow hikers whom we spent that time together…..I LOVE YOU GUYS. IT IS GREAT KNOWING PEOPLE LIKE YOU WHO SHARE THE SAME PASSION….mwaaahhh

Well! well! well! If you have never set your foot on mount Mulanje, then you are yet to discover what Malawi has to offer in as far as natural beauty is concerned.
The trip to Mulanje massif is the biggest hiking adventure ever in my life. It was a marvel to have been part of the group. I really liked the experience as it offered me an insight into what natural beauty means.
Starting from Likhubula base, everything was wonderful and worth spending my time for. I can’t wait for another trip there. Hopefully it’s gonna be the much dreaded Sapitwa Peak.
